جمعية التدخل المبكر للأطفال ذوي الإعاقة
هي جمعية أهلية خيرية، تم اشهارها في 29/5/2000، وهي قائمة على التبرعات التي يقدمها (القطاع الخاص، الأفراد، المدارس،الحكومة، صناديق التبرعات والمساهمات الرمزية من أسر الأطفال)، لتقديم برامج شاملة للتدخل المبكر للأطفال ذوي الإعاقة منذ سن الولادة وحتى سن التاسعة، لتغطية احتياجاتهم التأهيلية والاجتماعية والنفسية والمهارات الحياتية اليومية والتعليم مع التدريب بهدف إلحاق الأطفال في المَدارِسِ المنتظمة إن أمكن أَو تنمية مهاراتهم، ومساعدتهم في التكيف مع إعاقاتهم في مختلف المجالات، لضمان نوعيةَ حياة أفضل لهم ولأسرهم ودمجهم في المجتمع. وتتميز جمعية التدخل المبكر بأنها الجمعية الوحيدة والمتفردة في سلطنة عمان التي تقدم الخدمات للأطفال ذوي الإعاقة منذ سن الولادة.
ما هو التدخل المبكر ؟
هو نظام متكامل من البرامج والإجراءات والسياسات الموجهة للأطفال وأسرهم بهدف الكشف المبكر عن الإعاقات وتقديم التأهيل الملائم لهم لتحسين نوعية حياتهم بالإضافة إلى دعم الأسر وتوعيتها على كيفية التعامل مع أطفالها والتخفيف من الضغط الأسري، من خلال دعمهم خطوة بخطوة بشكل مستمر.
خدمات التدخل المبكر
Early Childhood and Family Guidance
The children are registered, and their needs is assessed to provide appropriate services for them. The social worker interviews the families and conducts a detailed case study to find out the case history and provide the necessary guidance to the parents.
Assessment and Rehabilitation Section
The association provides comprehensive services for children with disabilities, including an overall assessment of the child by a multidisciplinary team made up of a special education specialist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, behavioral therapist, modified sports specialist, and other specialists if necessary.
Daycare
The daycare unit at the association consists of a set of educational classes designed to mimic the functional home lives of the children. In this unit, admission procedures are carried out after a comprehensive and detailed assessment of the child by specialists to determine the possibility of introducing them to this unit.
Modified Sport Section
The sports activities were known as programs of improvisation and prevention. These included sports adjusted to suit the type of disability according to their intensity. The aim of these appropriated sports activities was to develop the physical fitness and mobility of disabled individuals to help them achieve mental and physical development.
Aqua therapy Activities
Aquatic therapy is a safe environment for children with pain, neurological disorders, developmental delays, and even some types of injuries or orthopedic conditions. Whether the condition is acute or chronic, water allows movement and support for children as they move.
Other Services
Alongside our main programs, we also offer a variety of additional specialized services to further support children and their families. These include Gait Analysis, Orthotic Services, Audiology, as well as other complementary services tailored to individual needs.
