Aquatic Therapy
At the Association for Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities (AEICD), our Aquatic Therapy Program uses the unique properties of water to support the physical, functional, and developmental needs of children with disabilities. Conducted by trained rehabilitation professionals, therapy sessions provide a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment where children can build confidence while improving their physical abilities.
The buoyancy of water reduces the effects of gravity, making movement easier and less painful. This allows children to practice skills that may be difficult to perform on land while promoting independence, participation, and overall well-being.
